Permalink problem

  • Hi i installed this plugin and it looks awesome, the submit question page and the page with the list of questions that have been asked comes up and they work fine but both when i submit a question or try to view a question that has been asked i get a 404 error. In the back end the questions i see the posted question under the question section and i can edit it but when i click on view again i get a 404 error. my permalink setting is to post name and i cannot figure out what else may be causing this. thanks

    So it seems that my theme has a problem with the plugin creating a custom post type (ie question) or at least that’s what i’m guessing because im having similar problems with other plugins that create a custom post type. any suggestions of how to remedy this?

    Hi zerackam,
    Please go to “DW Q&A” Settings > General > Permalink Settings, then change the slug of single question post type to any another that you want. Update and try to go to single question again.
    If it does not work, you can go to DesignWall Support submit a private question with your site URL and admin acount for further checking.
