Permalink Problem

  • I recently took over an existing blog at blog.dazfurniture.com

    I was tasked to optimize it for SEO keywords. I wanted to change the permalinks so I chose “Custom” permalinks and added /%postname%/ into the field.

    It worked in changing the permalink to include the post name. However, when I try to open the individual blog posts, I get a “404 – Not Found” message.

    Have I done something wrong? How do I fix it? I tried changing the permalink setting back to Default, but I’m getting the same error message.

    I waited a bit and reloaded the site. The pages are back up. But, does anyone know why that happened when I tried to change the permalinks?
