permalink problem

When I set the permalink, instead of having the chosen permalink as the link in the preview, I get a sort of default link:
For example, I would like to have:
https://www.mysite.it/prod/topic/
however, I get:
https://www.mysite.it/?post_type=product&p=1764&preview=trueThis happens for every new page I create, and the link is always https://www.mysite.it/?post_type=product&p=1764&preview=true for each new page.
I would like to understand the reason and how to solve this problem. Thank?you?very?much.
