Permalink postname not working on version 6.4.1

    Hi,

    I’ve updated to v. 6.4.1 and now permalinks with postname no longer work. I had to set them on plain and in this way the links work.
    I didn’t update any plugin or any theme, just WordPress.

    How can I fix the problem? I’ve tried to set it back to postname but everytime I do it the problem comes out again.

    I’m not a great expert, so I’ve pasted here the info about the website.

  • Disable and enable the plugin Polylang.

    Updated to WordPress v. 6.4.1 and postname permalinks stopped working. Reverting to plain permalinks resolves the issue temporarily. Tried resetting to postname without success. No plugin or theme updates made. Seeking guidance to fix this problem.”

    @threadi thank you for your answer. I have a lot of customized fields in Polylang. Can I disable the plugin without loosing all the customization?

    Yes, you can. I’ve already had to do that for a few projects. If you are unsure, create a backup of your project beforehand.

    Thanks, that didn’t solved the problem but updating to 6.4.2 and updating also all the plugins yes!

    Actually only updating WordPress didn’t solved the issue, but updating all the plugins yes (I think Polylang and Elementor were pretty important to update).
