permalink ok but url/folder problem

  • I have a feeling that you probably put the .htaccess file into the root of the domain instead of the root of where the blog is. That’s probably why you had to cut and paste it as well since the system was looking in the wrong place for it.

    Not sure if you’re going to have to edit teh file now but it should be moved into the subdirectory.

    That was the problem!

    I copied the .htaccess in my public_html folder into the wp_213_CMS folder and updated the permalink – great!!!
