Since I started to edit the website, the permalinks have never worked if I set %postname% in the permalinks. The only way to see the pages working is this custom structure: /index.php/%postname%/ .
I have checked different solutions about modifying .htaccess file but I am not sure I have access to the right file. I can see a file named htaccess.php in this position /wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/debug/classes and it looks strange. I asked the hosting people and they said they cannot find the htaccess file in the main root and it is weird for them too.
I just would like to have normal page urls. Can anybody help me with this?
If it depends on the hosting server, I have to know what I should ask them, otherwise they aswer like last time: “we cannot provide assistance for wordpress”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @sartorieanthea,
    Thank you for contacting us!

I was reading your previous comments and I understand the issue.
Be aware that the proper function of your Permalinks structure depends on your server configurations, so this issue must be taken care of by your hosting company.
Based on what you mentioned, it’s probable that you just need to enable the mod_rewrite PHP extension (check your server settings). Using this, you can remove the default /index.php/ from the site structure.

I hope this can be useful. Let us know further comments.
    Kind regards,
