• Hi,
we have for a long date a permalink structure as /%category%/%postname%/ that works perfectly.

After latest WP core update 6.4.1 this permalink structure dosen’t work. We tried to change permalink options (just /%postname%/), nothing changed.

Some pages point to the same one. By example we have a page with the slug “le-departement” when click on the link we see the news page that has the slug “actualites”?!

Very strange, any one can help us?

PS: .htaccess not changed, no other configurations changed, just WP core automatic update

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Strange indeed. Try visiting the permalinks settings screen. No need to change or save anything, loading the screen causes rewrite rules to be regenerated.

It could be an issue with your theme. As a test, try switching to one of the default Twenty* themes.

You could use the Query Monitor plugin to look at the main query’s SQL for various page requests, that can sometimes be revealing.

It is possible for plugins to influence queries. See if deactivating plugins helps any.

It is possible that the update was incomplete. You might need to perform a manual update to complete the update.

@bcworkz I understand, but when core update is automatic we expect that production website still working. So if I well understand your proposal, we have to disable automatic core update (security included), hum this is not very cool.

We ask people experiencing a similar issue start their own topic instead of making “Me too” replies.

If troubleshooting by switching themes and deactivating plugins is impractical for your site, use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. In troubleshooting mode, altering active modules only affects your view and not that of any other visitors.

Despite this problem happening to many users, the vast majority are not experiencing this problem. I cannot replicate the problem on my site, so I have to suspect theme, plugin, or server configuration to be the reason.
