Permalink not working

  • Hi,
    I am using Permalinks a lot. The following problem came up:

    when i link to a page with permalink then the [su_permalink] shortcode works if i am logged in. I am am not logged in the shortcode does not work. That means whoever visits my site will not see a link but only plain text.

    I am using https for 2 or 3 weeks now and have only notices the problem today. I don’t know if that is related.

  • I am experiencing the same issue. I am using the [su_permalink] shortcode in a widget. This started after the last update. Once logged out the links no longer show. Viewing the source show the ahref tags are not present around the linked text.

    Thank you, pharosinteernet! So the problem is not related to the changed on my wordpress but probably something that came in with the latest update. Do you think downgrading would be a temporary solution?

    Uninstalling the update may work. I’m not sure how you would do that unless you have a backup. I’ve had to re-code the links in each widget.

    I think getting an older release and uploading it via ftp should be fine. I can try that tonight…

    I’m experiencing the same issue with su_permalinks not working after the 4.10.1 update. I downgraded to 4.9.9 and the problem persists. The links are visible and work only when I’m logged in.

    I’m hoping we receive a reply from the plugin author.

    UPDATE: Links are now working again with 4.9.9 version.
