• The plugin was working fine until its last update. Now if I publish a blog post the {POST_TITLE} gets published without the {PERMALINK}. In posts with an image, the ‘title’ and the image gets published on Twitter but not the {PERMALINK}. This has become frustrating. Could you help?

  • Hello Bhooshan,
    This is not a common issue.If you set {PERMALINK} option in message format it will publish the link, make sure you added the {PERMALINK} format in the settings page and also in metabox (which will get the higher priority,setting’s page value will be substituted if no value given in metabox of specified post).
    We added an option in the general settings labelled as “Twitter character limit”,please make sure that the value is set to 280 ,if post title is a long one ,and make sure the post contains 280 characters or below.
    Please contact our support desk if issue persist.
    Hope it helps.
    Thank you

    Thank you @anjali94, I have tried all options including uninstalling/re-installing the plugin, but to no avail. And now there’s a new development. I just realized I cannot see the Twitter Auto Publish option under my post draft in the WP admin! I changed my browser, also uninstalled/re-installed the plugin but it didn’t work. I think I will contact your support or just move on with other available options.

    Thank you once again for your support & patience.

    Hello Bhooshan,

    In the Add/Edit posts pages ,there is an option labelled as Screen Options ,please make sure that you have checked the option Twitter Auto Publish.
    Hope this helps,if any doubts please let us know.
    Sorry for the late reply.

    I just detected the same issue, tweets are published succesfully with title, and image attached, but no URL. The tweet structure is

    {TITLE} – {PERMALINK}

    This is verified twice, in the plugin general settings and in-post settings.

    I use WordPress 4.9.1, plugin version 1.3.4

    Thanks!

    Fixed. It only required plugin to be stopped and restarted, then the ‘280’ value appeared on its box. Since then, everything worked again.
