    Hi,
I’m building a blog site using WP 1.5.
I would like to create a permalink structure such as myblog.com/post-title but on codex.www.remarpro.com I’ve read that

“If you use postname as the only element in your permalinks to create a structure such as myblog.com/post-title, the rewrite rules may make it impossible to access pages such as your stylesheet (which has a similar format) or the wp-admin folder. It’s best to include some numeric data (e.g. the post ID or date) in the permalink to prevent this from happening.”

Is this warning related only to the old 1.2 WP release or it is valid also for the brand new 1.5?

    Many thanks
    alberto

Do you know a wordpress site adopting this pernalink structure?

The warning is valid (as far as I know) for both 1.2 and 1.5. More so with 1.5 since the introduction of pages.
