Permalink issue for Custom Post Type

in the sidebar, i pull up another 5 posts to allow viewers to jump to featured guest posts of interest. problem is, the content is loaded, but all structure is removed. what am i doing wrong? there’s no 404 code, so at least i’ve solved that, but I still can’t get them to load properly.please help gurus.
