Permalink issue

I have two issues with permalinks that have me stumped. (My permalink setting is “Post Name”)

I have a custom taxonomy named “courses” assigned to my CPT of recipes. My The permalink is https://localhost/recipes/courses/dessert/ when I go there, it redirects to https://localhost/foods/dessert-topping-powder-1-5-oz-prepared-with-12-cup-milk/
“foods” is another CPT.

I also have an issue where I have Parent/child pages of ‘recipes/new’ When I go to
https://localhost/recipes/new I get a 404.

I have removed .htaccess and let WP recreate and also tried resetting my permalink settings. Both links work as expected when I set it to “default” setting.

Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
