• So the issue that is frustrating me is that want to use the day & name permalink option but which I change my option to that at the bottom of the first page of the blog, “older entries” goes to “../blog/index.php/Index.php/page/2/” and I get a 404 Error, BUT I know it should go to “../blog/index.php/page/2/” instead.

How can I use this feature and get it to work?

  • remove the index.php, your permalink for day and postname should be:

    /%day%/%postname%/

    many use:

    /%year%/%month%/%day%/%postname%/

days repeat, as do months, but years do not.

I did that and then my landing page blows up. It has to have the index.php in it but the link on the landing page dup’s it. But on all subsequent pages it is fine.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “older links” link it will go to “https://www.neogen.com/blog/index.php/Index.php/page/2/” but of course doesn’t exsist, but if you remove one of the index.php/ it will work and all the other links for forward and backward will work until you get back to the main index page then it doesn’t work.

    Soo confused…any ideas?
