• Hi everyone,

I messaged yesterday about enabling the blog network and having permalink issues. I think this may be because I set it up for subdirectories instead of subdomains and I (also) have Buddypress?

I enabled the blog network, disabled it, then reenabled it (before my most recent problem). I didn’t get a prompt for choosing whether I got domains or directories, but I assume that I got directories based on my earlier choice. Could it be possible that the choice of directories is messing with my permalinks? Is it possible to change over to subdomains instead of subdirectories?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

  • Doesn’t matter.

All the permalinks work the same way, via the .htaccess file.

(hey, I’ve seen this site before….)

Something def. up server-side. You *need* mod-rewrite. It’s a requirement for Buddypress for starters.

I guess I hadn’t uploaded the most recent version of .htaccess.

    It mostly works now.

    Thanks!
