    I am not able to change my premalink structure from default. When ever I try to change them it says to edit my htaccess file
    What to do???

  • Edit your .htaccess file and add the rules that WordPress has provided? Try asking your hosts for assistance with this.

    It just tells me to edit the .htaccess nothing else. It does not tell me to edit it in such a way..add this line or that it just gives a line that edit your .htaccess

    It also gives you the code to add to your .htaccess file.

    yeah found them.. the instructions were coming at the bottom of the page and the edit .htaccess was coming at the top. But there is no .htaccess at my server, I even searched for a .htaccess. I had a .htaces issue with phpbb in another site and the suport made me create a .htaccess file.
    I guess i will have to contact my support. have contacted them.
