Permalink help

  • By mistake, I created several copies of a page. I deleted all but one, join-us-2. I want the permalink to be join-us. But when I try to edit the permalink to be join-us, it won’t let me and keeps the name join-us-2. How can I edit the permalink to be join-us?

  • You need to delete join-us (in trash ?).

    Didn’t think of that. I had one version in Pages, another in Posts. So I deleted both, emptied the trash. Didn’t help. Tried to create a new page, still getting join-us-2.

    OK. I had an image named join-us.jpg. Deleted it, replaced it with a file named join-us-2000×600.jpg. I was then able to rename my page from join-us-2 to be join-us. Apparently the image name too was a problem! Thanks.
