Good day to you all, Elementor team…
    Thanks for this great plugin…

I just discovered a conflict with Elementor and a custom post generating plugin called APS-Products from Codecanyon.

When Elementor plugin is activated, and the product URL pattern is example.com/custom-name/product-name/, there will be no issues.
But when product URL pattern is changed to example.com/product-name/, the entire product pages generated by APS-Products plugin returns 404 not found.

For me, I prefer plain URL pattern for all post on our site, be it WP default, or custom post type. But with Elementor activated, I can’t use plain structure for the product pages. Please can you help take a look. Thanks

The shared link is test page, and Elementor is currently activated

    Hi,

Elementor displays all the widgets including default WP and third-party widgets. They are separated by section Headings in the widget area.

However, we can provide support only for those that we create, we are not aware of the third-party widgets code and functionality.

I’m sorry to hear that it doesn’t work, but this is for sure a good question to the plugin’s support team. So please consider writing to them.

    Have a good day:)

Thanks for your response. But I’m sorry to inform you that this is the problem of your Elementor plugin, not Aps-products plugin.

May be you misread me. I’m not trying to use Elementor to create anything in Aps-products. In fact, I use Elementor only to build homepage, because that is is the only Pagebuilder Smartmag theme supports! If I activate other wp-theme that supports both Elementor and say, WP-Bakery, the problem is there when Elementor is activated, but gone when Wp-Bakery is activated instead.

So this is obviously your plugin’s fault, because it affects the permalink functionality of other custom post type.

I’ll leave it as a conclusion that Elementor affects the url functionlity of other customer post type, especially Aps-products plugins, when permalink structure of the custom post type is set to plain.

A fix of these issues from your end is neccessary though, and far better than shifting blames!

    Hi,

    I apologize for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately, we have no control over coding for third-party plugins or themes, we highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for this plugin so they may further troubleshoot and provide any recommendations (or possible fixes) to resolve this issue.
