To set a static page as your home page, you need to log into your WordPress backend and go to “Settings”–>”Reading”. For the option “Your homepage displays” you need to select “A Static Page” and then from the drop down menu pick the page “Home”. Then save the changes.

thank you but you must have responded at the same time I edited my request. The static page distorts the home page colors and the header is gone.
