permalink adding a number

Hi

I want to create a page called with the link https://www.domain.larces

So I create the page, add the title larces and the permalink comes up as https://www.domain.larces-3. I tried editing it so that it was just “larches” and it sets back to larches-3.

I then deleted the page and created a new one with the title larches. Now its gone to https://www.domain.larces-4!!!

I can’t find any pages or posts with the title larches. How do I get it back to “larches”?
