• I would like to change my permalink to read out like this

    Year, Month, Day, , Author , Post or maybe even
    Day, Author, Post

    I have tried this code
    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%author%/%postname%/ but it doesn’t work my permalink reads like this –

    No, they are not. Permalinks work fine in 2.6. There’s one specific case that fails, and that’s if you have “index.php” in your permalink string. And there’s a workaround for even that case.

    I have the same problem my custom permalinks don’t work at all any workaround this?

    Just to add I remove index.php from the custom permalink string I get the 404 error on all posts…

    Any help on that would be appreciated.

    My permalinks does not work either in 2.6. Changed from default to /%postname% and the permalinks page won’t even show up in my Admin section.

    What do I need to do to reset the permalinks to the default if I can’t get to it through the Admin section?

    Deactivated the “WordPress Navigation List Plugin NAVT” plugin and everything worked fine. Activated the Flexipages plugin and it worked.

    Is anyone else having the sampe problem?
