Permalin ks and .htaccess

    Ok, I got good information in my other post, but I do not understand what to do with permalinks to update my pages. I moved from the wordpress folder to the root and have broken links. Please help.

  • After reading that I am not quite sure what you are asking here? How to change permalink structure?

    hi, thanks for responding,

    I think that is what I am asking. I have to make sure that the .htaccess file which I should find in the main index file are also updated in the permalink structure and I do not know what that means. I have not been able to find the .htaccess.

    On the installation side of the forum a poster showed me to set my permalinks to default and that fixed everything. I appreciate your interest in helping me out. I sure have learned alot and really appreciate these forums. Have an awesome day.
