• I have a couple of pages where Easy TOC shows a period dot (.) on the second line of a title when the title is too long for one line. Further down the list, when it gets to 10. and above the list shows paragraph number 1 on the first half of the title and 0. on the next line.

Also odd is this happens only when viewed on my mobile phone. The same page displays properly on desktop.

I don’t see how it can be my theme because the vast majority of pages and posts display fine on mobile.

Hi, Thank you it’s working now, and it’s India. I’ve checked the TOC and there are no period dots in the second lines of the title. Have you done any changes or it is working now automatically? Please check once again and do let us know back. Below I’m sharing with you the reference screenshot.

Your screenshot is showing the menu on a desktop. It shows the same as what you see on my desktop. I only have the problem on my phone. I just asked a friend to look on his tablet and he sees the problem also.

It is a responsive problem. The plugin puts a . or second paragraph digit and a . on the second line if the title is too long and wraps around to the second line so it looks like this:

9 too many words in the title so it wraps around to the second line and
. doesn’t display the paragraph properly

1 too many words in the title so it wraps around to the second line and
    0. doesn’t display the paragraph properly

I have a Samsung phone and my friend has a Samsung tablet. I will ask a friend with an iPhone if he sees the same problem.

For some reason, it only happens on a few pages. Most other pages are ok but I don’t think there is any difference between the pages.

Hi, Can you please let me know, Which wordpress theme are you using currently at your end?

    Thread Starter PhilEsq

    (@philesq)

It’s a simple custom theme. I suspect it could be a plugin conflict rather than the theme. I have a lot of plugins.
