performance with lots of banned ip's

    Hi,

    Yes, but I doubt if it would be noticeable.
    We have a website with over 1000 .htaccess lines and it takes around 10ms to parse the .htaccess file.

    would it not be possible to clean them up somehow so there is say never no more than 100??

    just thinking that most ips once in there will probably never try attacking again…
