Performance Issues when placing orders

    With this plugin de-activated from pressing order until the thankyou page is shown is approx 5-8 seconds. When the plugin is enabled it goes up to 30seconds + sometimes timing out. I’ve tested everything on the site and this plugin is the only thing that changes the speed of that order processing.

    Please turn off the first two check boxes on the settings page right sidebar. This not the performance issue but the inadequate resources issue. Please use cron job instead of these two checkboxes.

    the orders list page and my account page options under “Cron Jobs” heading are currently unchecked already. If that is what you are saying? We have the site on a pretty powerful hosting plan.

    See, performance issues are not the bugs, when there are more scripts running the background so sometimes it takes more than usual. In case you want to contribute to this plugin, the code is open and you can review the queries, if anything can be improved, give it a try and share the snippets with me, I will add/update in the next version. We should not start a debate on the powerful hosting plan, this support forum is to report the issues/warnings/bugs and errors. Please Try the other plugin “wc order split”, that is a light one.
