    Hi, We have tried a number of configs as per our last chat, however we are still having some strange issues on our site speed.

    See: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.deventerijsclub.nl/gGbWHzOf/

    Specifically on the number of minified .js files which are loading, there are way too many. See “Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)” on GTMetrix.

    Would really appreciate your assistance with this.

    Thanks

    Hello @dijc

    Thanks for reaching out.
    The number of minified JS/css files depends on how many JS/ CSS files you have.
    However, the recommendation in Gtmertix does not have anything to do with the number of files but with your usage of the CDN.
    So as per their recommendation, you should consider using the CDN. We recommend Stackpath CDN so you can signup with them and check out this article on how to set it up with W3TC.
    Thanks!

    I just deactivated the Minification option and the site load speed has improved. However now I get a ton of error messages in Chrome Inspect, e.g.:

    GET https://www.deventerijsclub.nl/wp-content/cache/minify/998c6.js net::ERR_ABORTED 500

    and this message:

    “The resource <URL> was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.”
