Performance issue and styling

  • I’m getting the hang of this and am really liking it, but there are a couple of things that are bugging me:

    1. When I click on the image hotspot in the front end, there’s a noticeable lag before the popup box appears. Is there a way to resolve this?

    2. When I hover over the hotspot, it gets highlighted. The area I have selected is quite jagged and I don’t want it to be highlighted. Is there a way to remove the highlighting?

  • Addressing (2):
    It sounds like you want to eliminate the “outline” of your hotspot. That can be adjusted in the Image Map Area, “Highlight Styles” area.

    Thanks for the reply. Eliminating the outline would be a good start. I tried doing this in the Highlight Styles area but couldn’t figure out how. I went to try and add a new style but got access denied. And I am logged in as admin with full permissions.

    for the permissions you might have to go on your ftp and modify the permissions of the folder and their subfolder of “imagemapper”
