I am new to this theme and like it a lot. However, it seems extremely slow. We have run big websites on our server without a problem, so it isn’t our server. I am thinking it is the mass amounts of CSS and JS files. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so how did they fix it?

  • Hi,

I’m not able to access your website. It’s taking forever to load. :/

    Regards,
    Hardeep

Site with preloader looks much prettier, perhaps is a little bit too long.
Is it possible to reduce a little bit the load time?
One more time thanks for this beautiful theme ??

    Best Regards

    Nikki222,

It is possible to reduce load time, but there is absolute no reason to do so. Either way it is slowing the site down and affecting your click through rate. This theme is great, but as a stock theme it is way to slow. So your best bet is to remove the code all together.

The images on the theme also need to be compressed. There are some great WordPress plugins that can help with this. If you want to take it a step further, you can remove all the DB calls and make it a static front using the same code (probably worth the time).

Hi Adam, thanks for Your reply. I have passed this detail:
Then it won’t load the content until page completely loads.

You have the right, first website optimization ??

    Thanks
    Nikk

The page loads much faster now, thanks. I just wrapped the code in style.css with /* code */, so I can use it eventually if I so desire.
