• I searched far and wide for a lightbox that would be responsive, attractive, and easy to use (both in development and for users). I was about to give up and then found this, which gets everything right – it’s almost exactly what I would build myself if I had the ability. Features that are important to me, and that I didn’t find in combination anywhere else: navigation is obvious an unobtrusive (i.e., doesn’t get in the way of the image itself or distract from it); and it is mobile-friendly (responsive in landscape and portrait, allows swiping, allows pinch and zoom). The graphical effects are nice – for example, the zoom in when opening an image from a gallery, and the subtle fade when switching between images. Best of all, it works perfectly with my gallery of choice, FooGallery. Easy to install and configure. I couldn’t be happier.
