Perfect Image Optimizer

Here’s why I love this plugin.

1. It gets the images smaller than other optimizers I’ve tried.
2. Automatically creates webp formats
3. Option to delete originals and shrink site (great for large sites trying to shrink)
4. Actually works on a large site with over 100K posts when most others don’t

It’s my go-to plugin from now on. I’ll be keeping a premium account.

Here are my only two suggestions for improvement.
1. Allow to process by cron job in the background. I’ve got over 100K images to process and it’s requiring weeks of keeping this browser window open to run. A cron job would be an easy way to let it run 24/7 and even allow Imagify to throttle it down to only do X quantity per hour per customer.
2. Allow server-side processing for those of us who have dedicated servers. The API is fine for small sites, but when you’ve got a monster to shrink down it takes FOREVER. If there was an option to handle it all on the web server, I’m sure my 32-core CPU would muscle through it in a matter of hours, not days. Plus it’d lighten the load on their API.

Just a couple of my thoughts. Thanks for the great plugin.
