Not so great anymore

Below is my old review, which is valid until version 6.5.4. This plugin was simply called Anti Spam. Just activate, no settings and no more spam, ever! Awesome, but now it is not so great anymore. It slowed down my site (measured in Pingdom and Google Lighthouse) and the settings screen is terrible, crowded with many options and things other plugins can do better. It was the perfect anti spam plugin, so I reverted back to that old version 5.5 and see for how long it will be working. If it stops at any time I will look for another plugin, but never this one.

I’m using this plugins for many many years and never received any spam through the comments form. So if you’re not using forms, like contact form, inquiries, donation forms etc. then you don’t need anything else. I have no idea how it works, but it works great.
