This tool is exactly what I needed for my site. I’ve only used this for multiple choice questions, so my comments are about that functionality.

The features I love the most are:

-simple to use: doesn’t try to be all things to all people, so learning curve is nice and gentle (Of course, this comes at the price of some customizability, but I’m pretty satisfied with it the way it is.)

-the “question pots” design allow a website owner to make unit quizzes, and then to make comprehensive exams from the same banks of questions (in whatever proportion you desire) later. This is the only plugin I’ve found with this feature — and it saved me a ton of time.

-questions and answers can be randomized (although it’s a bit odd that the order of the answers changes from the time the test-taker writes the quiz to the when they see the results… but not a huge problem.)

-it is fairly easy to upload MC questions from an Excel spreadsheet (which is good, because the interface within the plugin is a bit clunky). I ultimately entered over 650 questions, so the time invested in figuring out how to enter questions via a spreadsheet was definitely worth it.

-finally, when I had a panic attack because of a bug, the support was next-day (and the delay was mostly due to different time zones). Outstanding for any plugin, but in particular for a free one.

In a perfect world, I might be able to:
-customize the pass mark for each quiz, as well as the accompanying messages that test takers receive.

-track a user’s marks over many attempts at a particular quiz, and make that information also available to test takers.

-a timer of some sort would be nice. I would like to have the option to end the test after a pre-determined amount of time had elapsed.

Overall, the wishlist is pretty short, and if those features never get added, I’ll still love this plugin!

Thanks for all the work, guys!
    -Jeff

    September 2017 Update:
A WP update broke the plugin, but the problem (which I understand was not a minor one) was fixed in less than 10 hours. Can’t say enough about the support! Thanks again!

    Hi Jeff,
    Thanks for the kind feedback.

We’re working on a timer at the moment. Should be quite straight forward but not sure what yet to do when it reaches zero.
    We could either:
    a) Lock the form so no more answers could be submitted
    or
    b) Automatically submit the form regardless of progress

I think the best would be option b – no point locking the form if they have to submit anyway.

Can you expand a bit on the customised pass mark? Would be straight forward to add mark regions where if they get between 50 – 60% they get some feedback, compared to someone that gets 60% – 70% for example.

let me know if that’s not what you imagine.

Finally – let us know how to make the interface less clunky!
    Alex
