• EDIT: accomplished this by adding the WPC Countdown Timer as well! Rating adjusted to 5 stars. ??

This plugin is fantastic! My only complaint is that there is no way (that I can find) to set custom text for a product that is set to be out of stock (or unpurchaseable) until a future date. If you set it to be sold out until a date, it just says “sold out”. And if you set it to be unpurchaseable, it just removes the buy button and doesn’t replace it with anything. I’d like to put a custom message there instead.

For example: Product X is available for purchase on July 1. Between now and then we want the product visible but not able to be purchased, with a message that says something like “Available July 1”. Then on July first the product becomes available for purchase and that message goes away. Then when the product does actually sell out, it shows the default “Sold Out” message.

It’s very possible this feature is there and I just missed it, but I can’t find it anywhere. I would happily buy the premium version for this feature!

  • Thank you for your concern and interest in using our WPC Product Timer plugin!

FYI, We understand your requirement in showing the custom text along with the timer. However, WPC Product Timer is the plugin that allows users to install multiple condition timers so in order to display the right messages at a certain time is a quite complex thing. Therefore, you can try another plugin called WPC Cowndown Timer to get the details of a product along with the timer status programmatically. Besides that, the plugin can display the front-end countdown timer for products to attract more attention to your customers.

    Best wishes,
