Hello @cyberloner,
Thanks for your feedback.
Before proceeding further I would appreciate it if you could
provide some information:
1. what version of wordpress are you using?
2. what browser are you using? Are you using Firefox? Which version?
3. what OS are you using?
4. Which version of Eazy Ad Unblocker are you using?
5. Are you using uBlock Origin ad blocker? Which ad blocker and what version of it are you using?
6. What is the url of the website where you have installed and are using
Eazy Ad Unblocker plugin?
7. What is the following:
@@||domain.com^$ghide
bypass :/
Is it some kind of filtering rule in ad blocker blocklist database?
Or, did you apply the filter rule from your end in your browser?
What exactly does it mean? I need to see how the blocking is being done
from the adblocker logs.
8. You said that private browsing can bypass ad unblocking? So,
the popup is not being shown in private browsing?
Did you check that you had enabled the adblock extension in the private
browsing mode as well? If you had not done so, simply enabling ad blocker
in private browser mode may do the trick. Your adblocker notification popup
will show again.
9. Please preview the URL below
myplugins.net/demo/
with your browser and ad blocker which you are using and tell me
your findings.
10. Does your version of Eazy Ad Unblocker have the “Hide Restore” tab in wp-admin?
Have you tried using it? What happens when you use it?
It is present in the latest version.
Thanks and regards,
Pratyush Deb
