Per Product Shipping “Standalone” method?

I purchased the “Per Product Shipping” plugin.

The docs says there is a “Standalone” option, which sounds like what I need to use.

The following options are available:
Standalone method – Enable this to enable per-product shipping as a separate shipping method.

However there is no such option in the settings (even in their own screenshot):

How can I use the Standalone method?
I want just one shipping method that adds up the shipping costs of all products in the cart and only shows the customer a single shipping cost.
