per product shipping

I am using woo-commerce with flat rate shipping it allows me ship a single item at a flat rate. I would like to add additional shipping rate to the additional single items bought eg. if more than one product of the same type is bought. eg. if the product cost 3.00 to ship i would like to additional 1.50 for each additional item added to the cart for the same type. will the plugin work give me this option for my needs
