Just to clarify, it’s the buy/learn more button that’s not working. (The contact button at the bottom works, because it’s sitewide). The code used for the buy/learn more was inserted via the post itself, and it is <button class="green-button eModal-3">Buy/Learn More</button>

Even before I added the green-button class, it did not work. (nothing happens when you click). I don’t want to add it sitewide, because I’m going to have about 48 different emodal windows.

I created a testing page, to show everything i have tried to get it working with the per page/post checkbox checked. Please do not use the link above in my first post, because I am going to pursue different solutions, so that is no longer an example of the problem I’m having.

@rachelgoldstein71 – Sorry for the delays, been a busy few weeks around here.

The modal with id #3 doesn’t seem to be loaded in the footer html. When editing that page can you see if it has modal #3 selected to load in the Easy Modal Settings Section?

Another option before you check may be upgrading to Popup Maker ( Easy Modal v3 ). There are built in migration tools and it has a 1000% better targeting system for targeting individual pages, posts, categories etc or even the entire site except one page.

PS. I’m not sure if you have seen the notice. Easy Modal has moved. Popup Maker( or Easy Modal v3 renamed ), has too many new features to describe.

I will be glad to assist in any way I can if you still need it. Thanks

Hi – I’m jumping on this thread because I’m also experiencing similar problems with Easy Modal on my site. I’ve read the Getting Started Guide.

    1. Link Your Implementation of Easy Modal
    https://www.netimpactnyc.org

    2. Describe what is supposed to happen
The only modal I’ve set up so far should load on this page.

    3. Describe what is actually happening
Nothing. I’ve double checked – the modal is selected in the Easy Modal settings area on this page when I go to edit it. Is there something I’m not understanding about how these modals are implemented?

I’ve also tried Site Wide – nothing happens then either! Is there a possible theme/plugin conflict going on here? I can provide you with a list of all that info if it’ll help.

How are you trying to trigger the modal? I see it loaded properly in your footer html, so it is there. Do you have a button or something you want to make it open?

To make it open on click you would need to add the class eModal-2 to a button or any other html element that you want to trigger it.

Have you looked at migrating to Popup Maker? It is a direct upgrade and includes too many new features to describe. But per page targeting got a 1000% upgrade.

Daniel – OK, I think I misunderstood the scope of Easy Modal. What I want is Popup Maker! Thanks. This should probably be in the description somewhere for EasyModal (i.e. if you’re looking for this specific functionality, you want Popup Maker) – I think a lot of people who think they have this issue are committing the same blunder I am.
