people leave comments and i don’t see them

  • i don’t think my settings for comments are right on my blog.. people say they left a comment but my page says there are no comments.

    i clicked the allow anybody to register checkbox

    i also need help on the side bar.. it has far too many links..

  • In Discussion settings there is the option to get an email when anyone comments.

    The links can be removed from within Appearance > Widgets. When you drag an item across to one of your panels, say a tag cloud for example, whatever was there before, will disappear.

    New themes already tend to have stuff like blogroll, calendar and Admin links, even though they don’t show within widgets, but once you customize this they will go.

    I’m in the UK and all the Hulu videos don’t show for people outside the US. They’re just blank boxes. The YouTube ones show.
