Pending Post Preview Link

Hello,

We have users who are not allowed to publish, but they are allowed to submit their posts for review. We noticed that if we create a pending post without changing the permalink, the preview button works as expected. However, when the permalink is updated (and the post is still in pending mode), the preview button goes to a 404 page.

We have tried to disable the plugin and the modified permalink pending post goes to the correct page for the preview.

Our staff has to move the post to draft mode in order to properly use the preview button.

Another observation is that if we copy the preview url that is given while in draft mode and then switch to pending mode and use the saved url, the page preview loads. So I think the plugin is treating pending mode preview button as if the post is published.
