    Hello,

    I have a WordPress site with WooCommerce. I have a plug-in to accept PayPal payments. Everything has been working without issue until yesterday. I had 4 orders on my site yesterday. Three of them went through with no issue. But when I logged in this morning, I noticed there was a fourth order (it was actually the second order of the day, so there was 1 successful PayPal order before it, and 2 after it) with the status “Pending Payment”. I didn’t receive a notification of the order and the stock status on my site did not update.

    I logged into my PayPal account and the transaction does not show up there. So I haven’t received the money for the item.

    Under the order details in WooCommerce it says, “Payment via PayPal”.

    I’ve reached out to the customer to see if they received a confirmation of payment, but I haven’t heard back yet.

    Everything is up to date on my site.

    I have no idea what might have happened, or how to avoid this issue in the future. Any ideas, suggestions?

    Hi there!

    I understand you’re seeing an additional order under WooCommerce > Orders, but no payment recorded in your PayPal account for the same.

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Are you using the built-in PayPal Standard option: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/, or are you using a third party plugin?

    If you’re using the built-in option, you can enable logging to check transaction details for every order made via PayPal Standard. (Please don’t share them here without redacting sensitive information)

    I am currently having the exact same issues and I’m so hurt and scared that my customer’s payment is completely lost. Woocommerce or PayPal can not seem to help at all.

    If not, since this topic is already marked as solved, could you please create a new forum topic with your System Status Report and more details on the behavior you’re seeing?
