    Hello,

    One question about this plugin.
I have new with woocommerce and stay now with some test with your plugin.

If any user go to checkout and select payment via paypal, my web create a popup to redirect to paypal to pay but if the user abandons the order and not log-in in paypal… my woocommerce create a order with “pending order” status and asigned a order number.

    This is normal?
Have any possibility to avoid this?
I think this is not good to view the analytics in future because this order not are real.

    Thanks!

    Hi @intoper,

Yes, this is normal WooCommerce behavior.
When a customer places an order and starts the payment process, an order has to be created in WooCommerce to transmit the order information such as the total price to PayPal (or whichever payment method you choose).
At this point, a customer can still choose not to complete the actual payment process.
This order will then remain on “Pending payment” and be canceled by default after 7 days. You can change this setting under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Hold Stock
By reducing the time you can cancel unpaid orders more quickly if you wish.

Here you can find more information on the WooCommerce order cycle.

    Kind regards,
