Pending Comments NOT Viewable/Manageable

What plugins do you have active?
And you are logged in as the site admin?

I’m the site admin and here are my plugins – which btw I have had problems with (display widgets & polylang do not work well together for instance – I have to deactivate polylang in order to manage/change my widgets otherwise my widgets backend page is empty ???).

Do you think I need to deactivate them all and activate one by one to find the culprit?

If you deactivate anti-spam, does that help?

Do you mean no comments or that you see just a white screen?

When I click on the pending tab, I see no comments, just this msg: ‘No comments awaiting moderation’. Same with spam tab. Although the #4 in a red/orange circle remains next to the comments link in the left menu…

Directly under Comments, it says:
All | Pending (2) | Approved | Trash (0)

In reality, however, it’s:
All (18) | Pending (0) | Approved (18) | Trash (0)

AND I’m even getting the same phenomenon on my posts
It says All (20) | Published (18) | Drafts (2) | Trash (1)

In reality it’s
All (11) | Published (9) | Drafts (2) | Trash (0)

So something is messed up, I just don’t know what nor how to fix it. I can deal with the posts being messed up, but I don’t want to miss approving any comments…

Try deactivating Cachify?

yup, you’re right AND it was Polylang, one of my most important plugins! But whew, now I know what it is, thank you SO much!

Now I need to look for a new multi-language plugin because polylang causes too much trouble…
