Pen Theme creating conflict between two plugins
-
I have been using the Pen theme for almost a year… Overall, I am very satisfied and so are the other people in the organization and its members.
I have been having issues with The Events Calendar plugin. I am not sure exactly when this started, but I noticed, I believe, in July or August 2022, and I am just getting around to looking into it. Ever since then, I have been unable to add an Event – when I try to do so, all I get is a blank page.
I have deactivated all plugins on my site and reactivated them one by one… the only plugin having an issue with The Events Calendar is the PublishPress Blocks.
I enabled debug mode. I then tried to create an event and the following message was displayed:
Deprecated: Required parameter $content_id follows optional parameter $classes in /home/fibro271/public_html/wp-content/themes/pen/include/content.php on line 22
Here is line 22: function pen_post_classes( $classes = array(), $content_id, $output_type = ‘return_string’, $single = null ) {
I have no idea what can be done to solve the problem. PublishPress Blocks asked me to contact you since the error message shows a class issue with the Pen theme
I am current using
WordPress version 6.1
PHP version 7.4.30
Pen Theme v1.4.5
Pen plugin version 1.1.0
PublishPress Blocks version 3.1.0
The Events Calendar version 6.0.3Should you require additional information, do not hesitate.
Any assistance would greatly be appreciated
