    OK, made some progress ??

    1. downloaded the Dutch translation files from https://crowdin.com/project/peepso/nl#

    2. Translation files placed in the languages directory of WordPress:
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/

But still no result: I see no “set language” option in the Peepso config (in wp dashboard), and Peepso is not following the main wp-language (Dutch)

What am I doing wrong? Tnx for suggestions.

    Hi,

    Please look here: https://docs.peepso.com/article/20-translations-and-language-overrides

This doc explains how to create the .po and .mo files.

    Kindest regards,

@eric, thank you for pointing to the translations page,
I am more or less familiar with poedit, po and mo files,
just couldn’t figure out where in the peepso settings one can switch to dutch (assumed wrongly that the peepso plugin would automatically select wordpress language)

There are no settings for this, PeepSo should follow the WP language @regvg

It’s already a couple of months now, but 2 weeks ago I completed the remaining translations on Crowdin for Dutch and I’m using it on my site now.

As Matt says, it works automatically once you install the files in the right direction. (Don’t forget the .mo files)
