PDFs no longer working

Up until last Friday, all the PDFs I have uploaded into the media library linked and downloaded properly. As of today, none of the PDFs appear or download. These files are as small as 300k and should easily download and/or appear in an online window, as they have done from our WordPress site for over two years.
