PDF won’t display

    I would be very grateful if you could help me with your plugin. The plugin has worked perfectly everyday since I started using over 2 years ago. ‘Which I am very thankful”

    When I click Create PDF Packing slip this is what I get. This is a small part of what displays. No PDF! I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it made no difference.

    Hello Honey Goyal,
    I just had someone else confirm this issue: it’s specific to the latest Firefox in combination with the setting to download the invoice rather than opening in a new tab. This will be fixed in the upcoming 2.0 release.

    Until then, you can set the PDF to open in a browser tab (WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General) which should circumvent this issue too:

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean by

    Does that mean you didn’t try the ‘open in a new browser tab’ yet? You should be able to save from there too. Plus it’s a temporary solution, I have fixed this in 2.0 which will be released next week. Are you indeed using Firefox? Please note that after changing this setting, you need to refresh the order list page before clicking the PDF button.

    In the general settings tab you can configure the WooCommerce emails you want to attach the invoice to. Or is that not what you mean?

    Yes, I don’t want to open in new tab.

    I have created the custom invoice template, now i wanna get that template in my custom email functionality.

    In admin there have only single invoice template option to attach in email not for custom template.

    Hello Honey Goyal,
    I understand you want to download, but can you confirm that opening in a new tab shows you the PDF (instead of the raw data characters as in the first post in this thread)? Please test this so we can be certain that the fix (which will be applied to the download option in 2.0) works for you too!

    I’m afraid I still don’t understand your question about the custom template ??
    After creating the custom invoice template (instructions here), you have to select that template in the PDF invoice settings (so make sure to give it name that’s different from “Simple”). After that, the plugin will use your custom template to create the PDF invoice & packing slips, and you can attach this to any WooCommerce email.
