PDF ticket showing garbled Chinese characters

    I have installed The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus plugins. When issuing tickets, they come with a PDF attachment. However, the PDF shows garbled characters (see image).

    System Information:

    • WordPress version: 6.6.2
    • The Events Calendar version: 6.8.0
    • The Events Calendar Pro version: 7.3.0
    • Event Tickets version: 5.16.0.1
    • Event Tickets Plus version: 6.1.0

    Server Environment:

    • OS: Linux 6.8.0-47-generic x86_64
    • Web Server: Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu)
    • PHP Version: 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.19 (64-bit)

    Additional Information:

    • I am using Chinese language on my site
    • The PDF content appears as garbled text/characters (screenshot attached)

    How can I resolve this encoding issue? Is there any specific configuration needed for non-English (Chinese) character support in the PDF generation?
