Can you downgrade and verify which version of the plugin is working?

Ok I have tried that and it appears none of the previous few months versions work (It wouldn’t have been longer than that as it is a new site). Interestingly it still works on my local host and was working a month ago on my online server.

Not sure what to do to trouble shoot this. All Plugins are the same on my local host.

I’m running PHP version 5.6.7 on localhost
Your server using imageMagick 6.8.9 on localhost

There is a difference in php version and ImageMagick on my localhost but PHP version online hasn’t changed since installation. Not too sure about eh ImageMagick version….

    Hi lucymothership

I’ve changed the code which related with imagick on ver1.4.6.
Can you try to downgrade to under ver 1.4.5 ?

Anyway, I will investigate what is the cause.
But, now I’m a bit busy and need time to set up the same environment.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Sorry for the late reply.
Have you got a Solution ?
From a conclusion, I couldn’t reproduce your problem.

    I tested these combinations.
    IM 6.8.0 with php.5.6
    IM 6.8.9 with php.5.6
    IM 6.9.0 with php.5.6
    IM 6.9.1 with php.5.6

I updated and little bit developed the plugin.
I think that the chance of solving your problem is low, but try ver1.4.7.
This version is added error-logging commands.
Please turn on your WP DEBUG and update the plugin, then upload PDFs and get error logging in debug.log. It maybe help us resolve the issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi Mizuho,

    Thanks for following this up.

I’ve just managed to fix the issue by switching to Use imageMagick with exec function.

For some reason this option was always greyed out and I couldn’t try it but it has magically fixed itself!

    Thanks for a great plugin.

    Hi Mizuho-ssi,

I’ve ran into the same problem where I do not have the option to switch to Use imageMagick with exec function as it is greyed out too. Would you know what could be the problem causing this?

Plugin version is 1.5.6 and using imageMagick 7.0.5 on localhost. This is also the same on the ‘live’ server as well.

    Look forward to your advise.

Anyone encounter this same issue and might have found a solution? Appreciate your help, thanks in advanced!
