• I have just started working with this plugin and need clarification. If I have an existing PDF is it possible to upload that PDF and map the PDF form fields or do I need to convert the PDF into a PHP file and add that PHP file to PDF_EXTENDED_TEMPLATES?? if the only way is conversion to PHP then Can you lead me to any documentation that would assist?

    Hi,

No. This isn’t possible out of the box with Gravity PDF.

Our Tier 2 software does offer this feature, and we do use it as part of our PDF creation service, but it’s not ready for general consumption.

is that functionality something that you are planning to release to the public or provide documentation on it? If so what would be the timeframe to release?

It is on our long list of tasks to do but it’s not on our immediate radar.

We have undocumented filters to tap directly into the Mpdf rendering class. If you want to work through the Mpdf documentation you can integrate it yourself.
