Hi

PDF preview is not always loading?
It sometimes need a page refresh, so not workable

I have read a couple of other topics that mentioned this issue.
But the answer is most of the time, “here it loads”, clear cache etc..

This looks a problem that a lot of people have, so what is the true fix for this?

Hope you can give a detailed solution, i have seen it on 3 websites, and the hit ratio is 50/50 at least.

Hope you can help.

Hope you are well. If you are using [doc_preview]?for PDF preview . It depends entirely on Google doc preview; the download manager has no role in this. If the Google Doc previewer has difficulty reading a document for resolving this issue, You can use the WPDM PDF Previewer add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-pdf-viewer/. Please kindly check.

Great i will check into that.

For now we will disable the standard preview within the downloadmanager template.
It’s not reliable, maybe you should at a note when using this option ??

I don’t use a shortcode, its the default url of the file.

It’s not me , it’s just buggy.
I’m not the only one mentioning this ??

Better would be a decent pdf viewer in it as default.

Iff possible you should add a better (free) option for it, this is not bug free.
