PDF plug-in for my website content ok? SEO/Metatag work w/PDF too?

Hello All! Thank you in advance if you are able to offer any help/guidance. ??

Let me start by saying I am NOT a computer person. I think I’ve done okay with what I’ve learned and applied thus far, but I have cut a few corners. Here’s my site:

Still under construction. My question is…. I have been using a PDF document plug-in and inserting it into pages and it has made my life sooooooo much easier. The ability to create a webpage within Google Docs which is so user friendly allows me to make changes and adjust fonts/colors/photos and sizes etc. in seconds. Then convert anything to a PDF which I then upload within a WordPress page… so so easy.

Although WordPress has that ability too… there are so many glitches and formatting issues and weird things I do not have the knowledge to fix that using these PDFs has been an absolute Godsend. It is truly the reason I was able to re-create my site and get most pages up and running as quickly as I did. (it crashed before)

Let me also say I cannot afford to have a real Web Guy. I’ve gotta do it myself. And work with what I got. In other words, I know my method may not be standard or even optimal… but if it works and functions and does what is needed I’m okay with it… Unless for some reason it will work against me.

I’ve had 90-95% positive feedback on my site, but also some that say that because there is a PDF within the page which creates TWO scroll bars that I may lose potential clients if clients are unable to figure it out. Funny thing is as I am writing this I realize there are 2 scroll bars within this site that will move the entire WordPress forum page, or move my little message I’m writing now… interesting.

So, first topic/questions: Can I continue to use the PDF plug in the way I am with little to no negative repercussions? Other than the possibility that someone may have a difficult time navigating are there any other repercussions? Are there any negative repercussions? If there are negatives… is there anything I can do to negate that so I cant continue using my easy PDF ways?

Second topic/question: Just learning about SEO and content and Meta Tags and all that jazz now. Again… not a computer person. But I do understand that the content within your page can help you in the Google/Search engine ratings if you have the internal settings set up properly. So if I’m using my shortcut PDF insert trick… do all the words and links etc I’ve put within the PDF show up the same as if I were to put them in manually within the WordPress page? And if not… does it matter? In regards to attracting more clients to my page.
